Home > Wombat's Grammar Guide > Verbal Adjectives
English has a perfect tense for expressing ideas such as It is finished or I have eaten dinner. Irish uses a verbal adjective, an adjective formed from a verb, to express this idea.
| Tá sé déanta. | It is finished. |
| Tá an dinnéar ite agam. | I have eaten dinner. |
