Saor faoi dheireadh, saor faoi dheireadh, buíochas mór le Rí na Glóire, tá mé saor faoi dheireadh!

Jeepers, lads, it's been a while... It's been a long, long, long road back. I was beginning to think this day would never arrive.

Moladh go deo leis an Té is Airde, nach breá an rud í an tsaoirse.

For those of ye who don't know me, pardon the presumption of this sticky but I just wanted all me muckers here to know that Taidhgín is back in town (yeah, I know my geographical location is irrelevant in cyberspace, but it's only a turn of phrase, sure) the rumours were more than... ehm... rumours. Smile

I wish I felt inspired to say something more profound to mark the occasion but I think I my brain may be more than a bit exhausted after continuously being racked for what seems like years (actually, now that I think of it, it has been years... ).

imagine, if you will, QM jumping suas as a ríchathaoir to rush down to Tadhg, baineann tuisle aisti ar a clóca mór and tumbles ar a glúine

ar aon chaoi....

Fáilte ar ais, a chroí! jump

Go raibh maith agaibh, 'leaids, nach breá sibh a fhéiceáil. Más mall is mithid...

Tá mé go breá, a Shiôin, slán a bheas tú, cé go bhfuil mé tuirseach go maith i gcónaí (sin é an fáth nár bhuail mé isteach chuig an bhfóram inné - bhí mé marbh tuirseach, róspíonta an teach féin a fhágáil; 'thiarcais, bhí mé buailte. Tá sé mar phlean agam é a tógáil go deas réidh go mbeidh mé ar mo sheanléim arís.

A Phóil, a bhuachaill, cad é mar atá tú féin ag fáil ar aghaidh (mar a deirtear thuas anseo)?

Maybelline, what about yi? Thanks for the welcome back.

Go raibh maith a'd, a Bhanríona. Úps! Those cloaks are a right health hazard. They should come with a warning label Wink

Maith thú fhéin, a Fhaoil Ruaidh, it's good to be back.

I think I'll have a go at a few translations to get back into the swing of things.
