"A Dustin, tá grá againn daoibh ..."

I was saddened to hear that our talented turkey will not be doing
Ireland proud at this year's songfest. To put it mildly - I'm gutted!

It's no surprise to me, that the talkative turkey failed to woo our
European friends, as Dustin did ruffle a few feathers on the way.

There's an old German proverb that says that only fools, turkeys
and children tell the truth. The turkey was too honest for people.

Despite having a dream team of Dana as his "mo anam cara",
Bob for "hair and make-up" & Bertie for his "right hand man";
Dustin couldn't win over his many critics at home and abroad.

Dustin, you were too good for the Euro songfest. I think it
still holds true - it's not what you know but who you know!
