hello can anyone help me with the translation of the lords prayer? i know there are different dialects so i would prefer connemara gaelic if possible.
it is urgent for a presentation on sunday. my gaelic is a bit rusty so want to check that it is correct just in case

The Lord's Prayer is pretty much standardized. There will be differences in pronunciation, based on region, but the words won't change. There do appear to be slight differences between the form used by the Church of Ireland and the form used by the Roman Catholic Church...do you have a preference?
Here's the RC version:
Ár nAthair atá ar neamh,
go naofar d'ainm
Go dtaga do ríocht
Go ndéantar do thoil
ar an talamh mar a dhéantar ar neamh.
ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu
Agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha
Mar a mhaithimidne ár bhféichiúnaithe féin
Agus ná lig sinn i gcathú
ach saor sinn ó olc. ámén.

The RC version has added the COI ending in this area anyway during Mass...I dont know if that is Standard in Ireland or not now- Any Mass goers listening in? Or Theology Majors?

That bit (also knowns as "the doxology") is usually in the RC mass in any case...just separated a bit from prayer itself. From a theological standpoint, you're perfectly fine with or without it.
There are some wording differences as well, though (or rather, an alternative form offered in the CofI Prayer Book). Here's the alternative wording from "Leabhar Urnaí Malairt Leagain 1984 (de réir nósanna Eaglais na hÉireann):
Ár nAthair atá ar neamh
Bíodh d'ainm á naomhú
Bíodh do ríocht ag teacht
Bíodh do thoil á déanamh
Ar an talamh mar atá ar neamh.
Tabhair duinn inniu á n-arán laethúil,
Agus maith duinn ár bhfiacha
Mar atá maite againn dár bhféichiúaithe
agus ná lig sinn i gcathú
ach saor sinn ón olc
The "regular" version is a wee bit different as well:
Ár nAthair atá ar neamh,
go naofar d'ainm
Go dtaga do ríocht
Go ndéantar do thoil
ar an talamh mar a dhéantar ar neamh.
