Nothing wrong with the word order on my translation especially since I consider it a sentence that would be spoken. What I was wondering about (more than trying to correct, note the words 'I could be wrong') was the adding of 'ar bith' which seems unnecessary (to me NB!) and I'm not sure if it's placed correctly in the sentence (that was another thing I was wondering about). I think I'd prefer the future tense even if it's the present in English, since it's referring to the future. I got the vision of a teacher saying it to a school child, and then it wouldn't be too far off to have it a little 'stiff' as you put it, and in that case it would sound better with 'imigh leat' (away with you) than 'buail bóthar' (hit the road). Maybe it would be better if we knew the context. _________________ Note that I am only a learner in Irish. Wait for confirmations!
