| What a great site... I got wonderful responses to my wanting to know the words in a song I'm learning. Now... does anyone know the Gaelic translation for the work "Serenity"? My teen daughter is hoping I'll say yes to a tatoo one of these days. Take care, everyone, and thanks! |

How about suaimhneas?
There's sólás too, but that's more along the lines of emotional comfort/inner peace/solace. _________________ I'm learning. ALWAYS wait for someone else. Always. No exceptions. Especially on Tuesdays.

If space/pain is a consideration you could use "sáimhe" too _________________ =================

Hm, don't believe I've ever heard sáimhe before, that's interesting . . . anyway, suaimhneas is definitely good.
