My boyfriend and I have a tradtion of always saying I love you, bye, and kissing twice, and we came up with this little saying/poem for it, could someone give me the written translation and the pronounciation please?
The first kiss says I love you
Unconditionally today
The second kiss is forever
And loves growth along the way |

Deireann an chead póg,Tá grá agam duit.
Gan choinniol* inniu.
An dara póg, sin igeoir an siorriocht.
Agus fásann an grá ar an beallach[ar an slí]
chionníol ' í ' Accent over 'í '

We'll be happy to write it out phonetically, but I think it will be easier if we wait until we have an agreed translation.
I have a question about the last line. Christy translated it "and love grows along the way". If you want it to be "and love's growth along the way", perhaps it should be:
agus fás grá ar an bheallach.
In the third line, I don't know what the word igeoir means. _________________

Only one "l" no?
What does the last line actually mean? It doesnt make sence to me in English!
"And loves growth along the way"
Should it be, and love grows along the way? _________________ http://web.me.com/somhairle |

I read it with an implied 'for' in the sentence
And for loves growth along the way _________________ "The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them."

Take the last two lines together and it makes a little more sense.
The second kiss is [for] forever and [for] love's growth along the way.
Those last two lines are confusing, though. _________________

That's pretty much how I read with one small difference
The second kiss is for ever and [for] love's growth along the way. _________________ "The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them."
