In Irish, Bean is woman. Ríon is queen. (notice the accent over the letter i)
are you sure about the word ''usual''? _________________ Tá mé ag foghlaim i gcónaí. With translations, it is best to wait for someone more adept than I to confirm.

On the same tip, how does one address royalty in Irish? Like, "your majesty" or so... or was that irrelavant?
I remember Ailill saying that there's no thee or such... _________________ Dá fheabhas é an t-ól is é an tart a dheireadh.

A Dhaoine Uaisle... = Ladies and Gentlemen...
A Dhuine Uasail... = Sir...like the German, (Jawohl) Mein Herr
I would think the same would be used for Madame or Mam, like German (Jawohl) Meine Frau
Your Majesty/ Highness... = A M(h)órgacht...
Use H if addressing Male, none if Female _________________ éanna | | Bí cinnte dearfach deimhnitheach | Do not take my translations as a given!
