I was just rereading the endearments thread - would it be more appropriate to say:

a grá

or

a stor

or would it be mo ghrá (per DB)

when calling your hubby "my love"?

I'm bucking for dinner out tonight (and maybe more flaming devil )

hehehehehe

Go raibh maith agat.

Either's perfectly good, but don't forget to lenite "grá" ("a ghrá") or the fada on "stór."

"A ghrá" is literally "my love." "A stór" is literally "my treasure" or "my hoard." Either would be equally suitable.

Hi there...no problem at all...OI love Oscar Wilde's wit...

"I dislike arguments of any kind. They are always vulgar, and often convincing."

You can see it's development here: http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com/translation/sutra103571.html&highlight=#103571

It's almost time for a new quote...I'll be back with another soon... Wink
