Pirate is "Foghlaí mara" The pirate house: "Teach na foghlaí mara" Pirate rooms: "Seomraí na foghlaí mara"

Wait for confirmation, my grammar is shaky here, and I'm also doubtful that my spelling of "pirate" is correct
Await confirmation always, please.

Foghlaí mara is the term I'm familiar with. Not saying that píoráid is wrong, but it might have been coined for uses such as "music piracy".

On its own, "foghlaí" would just mean plunderer.

Hold on!

If "the pirate rooms" means "the rooms of the pirate" then it should be:
Seomraí an fhoghlaí mara

If "the pirate rooms" means "the rooms of the pirates" then it should be:
Seomraí na bhfoghlaithe mara

Similarly for "the pirate house":
Teach an fhoghlaí mara "the house of the pirate"
Teach na bhfoghlaithe mara "the house of the pirates"

(Edited to correct articles in English translations as per gumbi's post below.)

Await confirmation...

Hold on!

If "the pirate rooms" means "the rooms of a pirate" then it should be:
Seomraí an fhoghlaí mara

If "the pirate rooms" means "the rooms of (many) pirates" then it should be:
Seomraí na bhfoghlaithe mara

Similarly for "the pirate house":
Teach an fhoghlaí mara "the house of a pirate"
Teach na bhfoghlaithe mara "the house of (many) pirates"

This is my query also. I think "The pirate rooms" means "The rooms of the pirates"

I'm pretty sure your other translations are correct, however I think he means "The house of the Pirate"
Await confirmation always, please.
