FWIW, I remember learning at some point that in Irish, you shouldn't say that you have nothing, because that's illogical -- how can you have nothing? Instead you should say you don't have anything. So I would suggest:
Níl a dhath agat gan mheas. You don't have anything without respect. I'VE MOVED TO

I don't think "Tá tada agat gan mheas" is the right way to say it, as I explained above, but if it were, it would mean "You have nothing without respect". To reverse it, we should really put a comma between the two clauses, as in English.
Níl a dhath agat gan mheas. You don't have anything without respect. Gan mheas, níl a dhath agat. Without respect, you don't have anything. ...but I think the first way sounds better in Irish. I'VE MOVED TO

A chara Tá mé thréis ceist a chur ar dhuine an-eolach faoin nGaeilge agus dúirt sé gur féidir ''tada'' a úsáid ach bheadh sé níos fearr le ''níl'' a rá in áit Tá, mar sin: Níl tada agat gan meas Agus cheap sé gurbh fhearr leis ''meas'' a úsáid gan séimhiú. Ní thuigeadh chuile dhuine ''a dhath'' ach daoine in iarthuaisceart Dhún na nGall. |

I can confirm this. I'VE MOVED TO
