Hey,
IM planning on getting a tattoo and In my plans I want to incorporate my favorite verse and my heritage into it, so I was planning on having John 9:41 tattoed in gaelic... HOWEVER... since its permanent, I've been wanting to double and triple check to make sure im getting it right, so if anyone could hook me up with the correct translation that would be fantastic. The verse as I know it says: "'If you were blind you wouldn't be guilty' Jesus replied, 'But you remain guilty because you claim you can see'"-- but I would prefer a direct biblical translation as opposed to just a sort of phrase translation. Thanks so much!!

Direct from An Bíobla Naofa:

Dúirt Íosa leo: “Dá mbeadh sibh dall, ní bheadh peaca oraibh, ach anois deir sibh: ‘Tá radharc againn,’ agus leanann bhur bpeaca oraibh.”: Jesus said to them: If you were blind, there would be no sin on you, but now you say "we see," and your sins are upon you."

This uses the plural forms of "you" throughout.
