Hello! First time here-- loving the site-- have learned so much!
Some cousins and I are taking the trip (about 9 hours drive) to see the rest of my family for St. Patrick's day this year. . . and we've decided to make T-shirts for all to wear-- on the back, we wanted a phrase " Family, Drink, Song" in Irish. . . Please help! I think the words I need are "Muintir, Deoch, Amhrán" but I wanted to get some input-- and help with pronouncing the words correctly most importantly. . .

Any input would be greatly appreciated! The order for the shirts has to go in today. . . Thanks again!

Sorry we missed this one. Too late now.
With my translations always (without exception) wait for others to confirm or correct.

Family - Drink - Song

i would say something like:

Clann - Deoch - Amhrán (pronounced: clan - joke - owrahn

My thoughts on it anyway,

FWIW, Muintir, Deoch, Amhrán is better. Muintir is "family (extended), folks". Clann means "offspring, children"

Conamara-style pronunciation:
Muintir, Deoch, Amhrán
MWEEN-chirh, JOKH, OR-awn
/mi:N´t´ər´ d´ox o:rɑ:N/

Broad ch, such as that in deoch, is never a k sound; always a KH /x/ sound like the ch in loch /lox/ (lokh).
Amhrán may also be pronounced OW-rawn /awrɑ:N/ or OW-rahn /awra:n/.
