based on an irish proverb, let me suggest this

but wait on more yet

Get the Ræliksen CD here
éist leis an gceol

tá sult na saoirse i gcló na gcrann
is grá don tsúil a fiaradh,
tá dúil sa rud tá casta cam
is gráin don bhog is don díreach.

I agree that dánacht could be ambiguous, given the use of "bold" in Ireland for someone who is brazen or smart-alecky. What Caffler gave you and what glik gave you can both work:

[Is] as an misneach a faightear an tsaoirse
[Caffler's right that I mistakenly omitted the "t" in tsaoirse, which is grammatically required]
Roughly: "It is from courageousness that freedom is obtained"

Is i ndánacht a mhaireann an tsaoirse
Roughly: "It is in boldness that freedom lives/survives"
I'm still a learner, so be sure to get input from others, especially for tattoos.
