I'm pretty sure this is right, but wait for confirmation or a more "flowing" translation rather than a literal one

Ní thabharfaidh Dia i gcónaí an méid atá uait. Uaireanta bíonn ort dul is á fháil duit féin

I don't know about "flowing", but I think 4thG's is a little closer to what you were looking for.

God will not give you what you want, from time to time you will have to do it for yourself.

God will not give you what you want, sometimes you will have to do it for yourself.
