Bí dílis duit féin

Care to share the emergency? I hope it's not a last-minute tattoo translation, as we ask folks to get at least three people here in agreement before things like that.

You'll just have to wait, I'm afraid. It's better to reschedule the appointment than to do something like this at the last minute. Even the best, most fluent, translator can make a typo, and you could be stuck with it on your skin for the rest of your life if you're not willing to be patient.

Bottom line, if it's important enough to spend money and pain on, not to mention wearing for the rest of your life, it's important enough to wait until you're 100% sure you've got a perfect translation.

Bí dílis duitse thú féin..lit be loyal to ownself

Bí fíor duit féin..Be true to your self

You wouldn't want "fíor" in this context, Seán. It means "true" as in "correct." "True" as meant in the English phrase means "loyal," which is why I used "dílis."

No need for "thú" and "duit" together

Bí dílis d(h)uit f(h)éin
