I was wanting to know if there would be anyone who would be able to translate the term "Live Free" into Irish. I am wanting to get a tattoo done with those words done in the Irish language. It will be partly to remember a very good friend of mine that was killed in an accident a few years ago. He had only come out from Ireland to Australia a few years before he passed away. To live free is one of the things that I try and live my life by. If there is anyone that can help out it would be a great help.

Hi
lets see if I can get this right today without soaring… The literal translation is "Mair go Saor" (Live Freely), however saor can also mean cheap, so it could mean “live cheaply”. So an altervative might be: Mair gan srian - Live without restraint or Caith do shaol gan srian - Live life without restraint Please always wait for others to correct/confirm my translations.
