here is an Aussie who saw that on tv and was genuinely upset for you guys, especially after you helped me the other day. I haven't watched soccer since my dad watched Celtic play on tv. We have a lot of Irish recruits here playing Aussie Rules so have a look , maybe we can swap notes.
