To play this game, simply write a sentence as Gaeilge about something in the news. ceannlínte = headline
Fuair 6,200 duine bás ó fliú na muice ar fud an domhain.
fuair X bás = X died fliú na muice = swine flu (muc = pig, muice = of pigs) ar fud an domhain = around the world
Scoring: Humans get 1 point for every sentence. Wombats get 1,000,000 points for every sentence. By participating in this game, you accept these terms and any future terms a wombat might dream of, including but not limited to the levying of chocolate chip cookie fines.

Ooh, that's a good idiom to know: tá X ina cíor thuathail = X is in turmoil, chaos, etc. Bhí scirmis (cath beag) idir an Chóiré Theas agus an Chóiré Thuaidh.http://www.independent.ie/world-news/as ... 39105.html

Bhí carr mná goidte. Níor thiomáin gadaithe ach 150m óir ní féidir leo carr láimhe a tiomáint. That is probably the worst ever. But I saw it in the paper, and thought it was realllly funny. Corrections are welcome
