Irish Translation Forum

Hi there,
Im looking for a bit of help with a translation from english into Scots Gaelic as im planning to get a big ugly Maori tattoo done on my shoulder and I would like some Scots Gaelic inscribed. The inscription I would like to have reads "Scotland is the land of my heart" as I tend to wander and it feels appropriate! Anyway if anybody could assist me with a translation into Scots Gaelic I would greatly appreciate it.

Scottish Gàidhlig has a stock way of setting up "X is Y" phrases with two nouns, with 's e ... a tha ann (with 's e being used regardless of the grammatical gender of the noun), so:

's e tìr mo chridhe a tha ann Alba

It's hard to see in this font, but note that there is an accent over the "i" in tìr, slanting from upper left to lower right.
