I am hoping that someone can help me:

How would you say, "Tell me about what you made?"
Would "tell me what you made" be "Abair liom cen tóg é?"

Is there a translation for "Show and Tell?"

Many Thanks!!!

Abair liom cad a rinne tú / dhein tú / dheinis / thóg / chruthaigh tú.

I'm not sure which is the most appropriate.

"Show and Tell?"

maybe : Taispeán agus Abair ?

Wait for more.
Warning: Reasonable command of Irish - but I still make basic errors.

Is dóigh go ndéanfadh "abair" cúis ach is é an rud atá cloiste agam ná:

"Taispeáin agus inis".

Tá an ceart ar fad agat, a fhir a' chéachta. Bhí sé déanach aréir agus mé ag scríobh. :)

Amended as per suggestion of Merryploughboyboy.

"Inis dom faoi cad a rinne tú / dhein tú / dheinis / thóg / chruthaigh tú.

Show and Tell:

Taispeán agus Inis.

Wait for more.

"Inis dom faoi cad a rinne tú / dhein tú / dheinis / thóg / chruthaigh tú.

Id rather say "Inis dom faoina ndearna tú" in Standard Irish
"Ins domh fána dtearr tú" in Ulster

The "faoi cad a..." thing sounds very English to me.

Or simply: Inis dom cad a rinne tú (Ulster: Ins domh cad é a rinn tú).

Btw, "taispeáin" has a slender n at the end.
Is fearr Gaeilg chliste ná Gaeilg bhriste

Abair liom mar gheall ar an rud a dhein tú

inis dom fén rud a dheinís
Ba mhaith liom lámh chúnta a thabhairt d'éinne atá ag foghlaim agus ba mhaith liom déanamh amhlaidh mé fhéin.
