I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i translated this correctly, i was / am trying to say, "faith in Family, and family of friends", and this is what i came up with, wasn't sure if i put it together right...but here it is.

creideámh i muintir, agus muintir de cairde

Also I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere to find the way to say this properly, as i basically butcher the language at every attempt.

I'd hold off on that. You need to tell us what you mean by "faith," as not all meanings of "faith" are represented by a single word in Irish:

Creideamh = Faith as in "belief" (as in "I believe in God" or "I believe in fairies"). It's the equivalent of the English word "Creed."

Muinín = Faith as in "trust/confidence"

Dílse = Faith as in "loyalty/fidelity.

im trying to say i have religious faith because of my family and the 2nd part is my way of including my friends in that group because they are considered family by me and my actual family...so basically i believe there is some form of a higher being due to the friends and family I am surrounded by...
Thanks for all the help!!

but muintir mo chairde means my friends' family/people/folk

I think we need to say circle of friends or friends who are like family (although even this may be awkward).
