My sisters and I are getting a tattoo and would like to get "Live Free" translated into Gaelic. It does not have to say "live free" exactly, we just want it to mean "live a free life", or "Live Freely". Any help would be appreciated.

Are you soaring today Angel?..I think you mean saor
Since saor can also mean cheaply some prefer
Caith do shaol gan srian
Live life without restraint

This would be my preference as well, as it's less ambiguous. "Mair go saor," while literally correct, could also mean something like "survive cheaply" (a good motto for students backpacking around the world, though!)
