Does anyone know the tale of Oonagh. I guess she was a celtic goddess and Queen of Fairyland.

Or know where i could find out about her?

Oonagh is an anglicization of the name Úna. Search for that. This is a good site for gods and ladygods.

I have busted my toin trying to find some comprehensive data online for Úna, but not found anything conclusive that isn't fluffied six ways from sunday by the "Celts were dendrapheliac peacefull Earth-lover" types. I am growing increasingly cranky considering that my second job is as a cultural researcher, and it is getting harder and harder to find good resources to point people to.

I think my wife is right, time to write another book

Another? Go for it. What was your first one, BTW?

All that airy-fairy treehugger Popcelt stuff does my head in.

It sounds familiar, but I can't find anything at the moment. Try this website:

Got a couple, one headed to publishers as soon as I get off my toin, one still in the works. First is a compilation of the tales including the Mythological Cycle (Táin et al), and the one I am working on now is a science fiction novel, first of a trilogy I am writing.
