I hate Enya (along with 'some' others here :lach: ) I like bagpipe music a lot! I listen to my "Bagpipe Classics" CD when I'm pissed, it sooooothes me.

I also like the Wolfe Tones, like James.

I'm just starting to listen to more trad music on the liveireland site. I dowloaded a few songs by the Corrs and the Young Dubliners that I like.

Hey I just noticed.... I got my own disciple! How cool.

Anyway Tom I just started to listen to the Corrs but they seem pretty good. I saw them on tv before I went out on New Year's Eve and I just down loaded a few songs. If you like bag pipes check out a band called Bad Hagis, great Scot band.

I do like Laurena McKennit, great voice. And that one song of her's The Mystic's Dream is awesome.

I like Irish trad. (my passion is the tin whistle, which I've played for about 20 years, give or take). I don't care for new agey stuff. Give me a good pub session any day.

You might like Planxty. Lot's of piping and they have a pleasingly rough sound.

Google on them, they were huge on the scene in the 70s.
