Hey, you like whatcha like. I've never heard him myself. Of course my musical tastes are wide. Right now I'm listening to Slayer.

Paul Brady - Hehe good to hear that man's name mentioned a second time

Tadhg mentioned him once and I couldn't find any of his CDs, so I was starting to think it was some hole-in-the-wall guy who had no record contract :lach:

Oh no!

Mea culpa!

Actually, The Island was THE song that got me hooked on Paul in the first place.

I'm so embarrassed now!

Can someone please pass the paper bag?!

Lúnasa are brilliant! www.lunasa.ie so are Kíla www.kila.ie Altan are brillant for your more classical traidisiúnta.

If u wanna hear something a bit different check out Lick The Tins. They're an old band from the 80s, kind of a one-hit-wonder. They have one album and did the soundtrack for the film The Snapper, and Some Kind Of Wonderful. They sound v.dated now but their trad version of Can't Help Falling In Love With You is pretty good. The reason I say is coz the singer/tinwhistler is my auntie  U can search for it on KaZaA :) http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 23-7064467
