we had to do a weather forecast in irish for school while everyone else wrote
Tá sé fliuch. Níl an ghrian ag soilsiú. Tá sé fuar
i wrote Réamhaisnéis na hAimsire
Le Conchúr MacLochlainn
Maidin amárach i dTuaisceart na hÉireann, beidh sé sioctha fuar. Beidh sioc ann ar an talamh ón oíche anocht. Caithfidh sibh bhur gcótaí a chur oraibh féin! In áiteanna eile, i nDeisceart na hÉireann, beidh sibh abálta difear a fheiceáil. Beidh sé rud beag níos teo ná sa Tuaisceart. Beidh a lán scamall ann sa spéir ach beidh sé tirim go leor ar maidin. Beidh an aimsir céanna ag an Oirthear mar a bheidh ag an Iarthar; spéartha liatha agus fearthainn throm. Ar an drochuair, ní bheidh aimsir na maidine amárach an-mhaith!
Ag bogadh ar aghaidh go ham lóin, rachaidh an aimsir i bhfeabhas do na daoine san Oirthear, san Iarthar agus sa Deisceart ach mar i gcónaí, beidh aimsir na hiarnóna sa Tuaisceart an-olc, go hairithe i nDoire! Beidh stoirm ann agus leitheadnóidh sé trí na tire. Osclóidh ná spéartha liatha! Beidh sé ag cur báistí go trom. D’fheannfadh aimsir na hÉireann na caoirigh, nach bhfeannfadh?! In áiteanna eile tráthnóna amárach, beidh sé measartha maith ach tá seans ann go mbeidh ceobhrán ann. Ar an iomlán, beidh sé tirim.
Beidh aimsir na hoíche in Éirinn amárach millteanach. Éireoidh an mheasartha maith a bhí againne sa Deisceart an-olc. I dTuaisceart na hÉireann, beidh tuilte ann agus tá seans ann go n-éireoidh sé an-chontúirteach. Don tsábháilteacht s’aghaibhse féin, bígí an-chúramach má tú sibh ag tiomáint agus go háirithe má bhíonn sibh in bhur gcónaí ar ísealchríoch. In áiteanna eile, beidh ceo ann ag teacht isteach ón fharraige.
Mar is féidir libh feiceáil, ní bheidh aimsir amárach iontach maith, ach, in Éirinn, cad é eile?! Slán go fóill agus tchífidh mé amárach sibh.

This reminds me a bit of a commercial that is running in our area ... it is some sort of Internet commercial.
The teacher asks the students to write a brief report about a historical President of the US. It shows a girl, probably around Conor's age or so sitting diligently at her computer. All the kids hand in their one page report ... she hands in this huge notebook including pictures. The teacher says she only asked for a small bit of information. The girl replies that a "condensed" version just didn't seem to do him justice ... and because the report was so long --- she even burned her a CD, which she, of course included. It's cute really. The teacher stands there dumbfounded.
Leave your teacher speechless, sweet Conor ! You go git em, Tiger !!
