There is absolutely, positively no way that phrase could mean "I follow behind a donkey's penis." The word for donkey is asal and penis is bod. Neither of those words appear here!

Pé áit a dtéann tú, bímse leat -- someone appeared on this board the other night asking what that meant, and Ailill--I believe--confirmed it as "wherever you go, I am with you."

Pé means "whatever, whichever"
áit means "place"
a means "that"
dtéann means "goes"
tú means "you"
bím mean "I (regularly, continuously) am"
-se is an intensifying, emphatic suffix "I am"
leat means "with you." :

Whichever place (it is) that you go, I am continuously with you ->
Wherever you go, I am with you.

Somhairle, sorry if I'm being rude but "go n-éirí an t-adh leat leis na.." is em, incorrect.

You could say:

Go n-éirí leat sa scrúdú (may it go well with you...)

or

Ádh mór ort so scrúdú. (good luck to you...)

We could never say "go n-éirí an t-ádh leat..". That means may luck succeed with you...
