Hello,
Does anyone know what the Irish translation would be for:
1: Alexanders House (or Home)?
2: ----from/of the old country/land?
Thank you for helping me.

Is "Alexander" a first name or a last name?

If a first name:

Teach Alastair/Alsandair -- house of Alexander (pick which of the two forms of the name you like better)

Baile Alastair/Alsandair -- home of Alexander

If a last name:

Teach na nAlastarach/nAlsandarach -- house of the Alexanders

Baile na nAlastarach/ nAlsandarach -- home of the Alexanders.

From the old country:

As an seantír

So, too recap (in case that was confusing)

Alexanders House (if first name)

Teach Alastair
Teach Alsandair

Alexanders Home (if first name)

Baile Alastair
Baile Alsandair

Alexanders House (if last name)

Teach na nAlastarach
Teach na nAlsandarach

Alexanders Home (if last name)

Baile na nAlastarach
Baile na nAlsandarach
