Dunno, I just mentioned it en passant. Na bac leis. "Tá an saol mór lán den fhilíocht ag an té dar dual a thuigbheáil agus ní thráfaidh an tobar go deo na ndeor."

OK!!
I'm just saying that traditionall Irish surnames containing Dubh - Ó Dubhthaigh and Duff - referred to hair colour. So, if we are going to name a dark Prince perhaps Diamhair is better than Dubh which could e mistaken for "dark-haired prince". I said it was ok
But did a search And came up with an Oisín transaltion of Dark Prince as Prionsa Dubh Not one I would have favoured myself and wrongly went with Oisín's version. However - I then spent some time checking all the variations of dubh with O Donaill ( a quiet Sunday here) no worries Last edited by Brian on January 18 2004, 22:01 PM, edited 1 time in total.

Yeah I got variations on the word "dark" so apparently in my case diamhair would be better. Thanks much.
