I love to read (when I have the chance!)

I just recently read through "The Da Vinci Code" in two days!

There's something about using your imagination to "hear" someone's voice speaking instead of hearing someone else dictate what that voice might sound like.

Am I making sense? Ugh - it's Friday and I desperately need chocolate!

Elora,

I completely agree about "hearing" your own voice. The only exception would be if the story were being read with that lovely Irish brogue---i'd probably lose track of the entire story though.

I just ordered the CD's of Da Vinci Code. Can't wait!

Thanks!

Méabh--get the choco bar w/nuts. Then, at least, you can give the appearance of protein

Hell, I read the entire LOTR trilogy while sitting on the toilet. Not all at once  Karen would bang on the door and yell, 'What the hell are you doing in there!!' I'd tell her that right now, the fate of Middle Earth was more important than watching the evening news. I'm sure she already has a place in Heaven :lach:
Beidh ár lá linn.......go luath!!

I'm a beginner. Wait for more input with my translations.
