hello. im just a student now, but im hoping to open a pub somewhere in the us when i get done. i want to run it so most of the profit will go to different charities, so i want the name to be somehting like "the hope" or something about giving, you know? so if you could hlp me out, or tell me if you think its a lame idea, id love it. thanks.

I'd suggest Súil Beorach hope of beer, but it also means eye of beer

I'd go with "Teach Dóchais". - House of hope/trust.

or

"Teach Súile". - House of hope/anticipation.

Huh? No no. Teach Dóchais (Ch@kh* - Dohkh*-ush)

kh* sounds like the German 'ch' in ach or buch.

Teach Súile (Ch@kh* - Soo-leh) 'oo' as in English 'food'.

-Maidhc.
