Does any one know the correct colours of the Sligo Tartan as I have found at least three variations. Otherwise, please direct me to some correct source.

Ask a Sligo woman a Sligo question

Blue, a kind of yellow/gold and a brownish red.

I think Dublin's tartan and Co. Wicklows (& Wexford) are cool. So is Ireland's national tartan.
Ní bheidh Éire shaor ar síocháin choíche, agus gan an ceart, ní féidir an tsíocháin a bheith ann.

As long as we are on the subject, where can you find Family tartans? Also, what does Donegals Tartan look like? Do they have one?

Well, for the most part, they are.

These county and national tartars, pretty though they be, are modern inventions and designs.

Some Irish families do have tartans, but most of them are originally Scottish families that hopped over the water.

would then the county tartans be those used in the skirts on the Camogie Lasses?
