I invite anyone to correct me, but I believe Macushla means "sweetheart" or "darling"....not as in 'this is my macushla, Steve', but more like 'I luv ya, macushla'.

If you're a Seinfeld fan, it's the Irish equivalent to "shmoopy"! :lol:

It's a term of endearment, more than anything else.
