I'd like to approach the original topic from the opposite direction.
Could someone please translate these 4 phraes:
1. "Whishey made a fool of me."
2. "Whiskey has made a fool of me."
3. "Damn! I made a fool of myself."
4. "Damn, I have made a fool of myself."

i usually pronounce it like that after a few as well.

So I think I have decided to get "It goes on" and so far I have two different spellings;

"leanann sé ar aghaidh" and "leannan sé ar agaidh"

Does it matter how it is spelled or is the difference between the two negligible?

It's called "mouth music" and has no literal meaning, but is quite common in traditional songs. The term "diddle-ee-eye music" is often used as a disparaging term for traditional Irish music

Asking what "musha ring dumma doo dumma da" means, I think.

That's what it was in the beginning but now I am just hoping for some confirmation on the spelling of "it goes on." I have two possibilities, see above.
