Obroin,
Your name made me desire a translation to this Edgar Allen Poe phrase:
"Quoth (said) the Raven, 'Nevermore'"
Byrd Wyatt
Bail o' Dhia ort.

Arsan Fiach Dubh, go deo choíche. = Quote the Ravan: Forever and ever.

“Go deo choíche” means ‘never’ only when qualifying a negative phrase.

Ní dhúnfaidh an Fiach Dubh damanta a ghob go deo choíche = The damn raven will never ever shut up.

“Quote the Raven, Nevermore” cannot be translated directly “as quoted” as far as I know. But I am open to correction.

Ní bheidh Éire shaor ar síocháin choíche, agus gan an ceart, ní féidir an tsíocháin a bheith ann.
