"Well and Thorn"

(well as in spring: tobar, i think)
(thorn as in hawthorn, if there is a different term for thorns from a rose or something)
also maybe pronouciation if its not obvious... thanks.

An Tobar agus an Sceach geal (The)Well and whitethorn (Hawthorn)
An Tobar agus an Draighean dubh (The) Well and blackthorn
An Tobar agus an Dealg (The) Well and Thorn
If you have this without An as you did above an Irish speaker would read it as "A well and a thorn".It would be usual in gaelic to put in the definite article in a case like this as in a name of a place. It goes with the different type of grammar it has to english."Tobar agus Dealg "alone would not work very well in Irish.
