Hmmm, that's a good question. Is there a Foclóir that exists that HAS a useful phonetic pronounciation in it?

Not that I know of. They probably want to avoid the nasty, bloody fight that would undoubtably ensure when trying to decide which dialect to use...

Looks like you never got your phonetic rendering. For what it's worth here's my attempt at putting it into 'English' sounds.

Unfortunately not all sounds can be easily transcribed and some of the original sound/tempo/rhythm will be lost.

*The ch/gh sound is particularly difficult to write in 'English'. I've used 'kh' and marked it with an asterisk. This is to be pronounced much like the 'ch' in Scottish 'loch' or German 'ach'.
