Came across a great link posted on politics.ie
Check out the link below if you'd like to hear recordings of native speakers from the following counties:
Aontroim
Doire
Tír Eoghain
An Cabhán
Ard Mhacha
An Lú
Liatroim
Sligeach
Roscomáin
An Clár
Tiobraid Árann

mp3 format. Some are accompanied by a PDF so you can read along as you listen. Recorded between 1928 and 1931.
Sad to think that all these Gaeltachtaí are extinct now. Some were already on the verge of collapse at the time of recording.
Perhaps the more advanced learners here would like to comment on the speakers themselves? Their accents, pacing, pronunciation etc. ??
Can you understand much?
