This was said in a 'slightly heated' conversation on a message board.

I'm also unsure whether this is Irish or Scottish Gaelic

Have I been insulted?

Any help would be appreciated.

On searching these threads I've come to the very loose conclusion that it may have been a form of good night?

Feel a bit of a prat now

Ara, yer all right; anybody can make a mistake. :)

For the record, it means

'good night (to) all (of ye)'
Beatha teanga í a labhairt,
buanú teanga í a scríobh.
(neafaisiú teanga í a thatuáil?)
