I'm looking for someone who wants to be responsible for the (Irish) Gaelic translations of several songs (3) that are written in English: These songs will be released on a forthcoming CD of my band. You will be credited on the CD, a chance to get your name immortalized ! I sincerely hope that there's someone on the list who can help me out ! Your input will be much appreciated ! Well, here's the first (short) one - it's more of an introduction to a song then a songtext, actually. Just for the record; I want to emphasize that I don't expect (naturally) a literal translation. You are totally FREE in your interpretation of the text. I can imagine that some of the phrases (e.g. 'Inner Serpent') or individual words do not have a Gaelic equivalent or something. Your interpretation is o.k. as long as the theme ('soul') of this text is preserved. last of all, I want to express my thanks that you (and anyone else) are willing to have a go on this text.

OK, Milko, I think this is a fairly reasonable translation.

That is a really impressive translation of a 'daunting' original

just one line there I dont get(and it could be me!! )

Cumaí éagruthacha futa fata sna foraoisí ceomhara

My interpretation of futa fata was to do with confused noises- blustering or something. ??
