An cupán é?

Go raibh mait agat!

1) Níl sé beo (it's not alive)
2) Níl sé níos mó ná bosca aráin (it's not bigger than a breadbox)
3) Ní pheann é (it's not a pen)
4) Níl sé déanta as miotal (it's not made of metal)
5) Ní cheannaigh mé é san ollmargaidh (I didn't buy it at the supermarket)
6) Ní fhéidir é a ithe (it's not possible to eat it)
7) Ní deoch é (it's not a drink)
8 ) Níl sé déanta as adhmad (it's not make of wood)
9) Ní James Brown é (it's not James Brown)
10) Ní bhaineann sé le ceol (It doesn't make music...but then, the same could be argued of James Brown! )
Leathfhocal: Tá trí acu anseo ar mo chrinlín anois (Hint: There are three here on my desk right now)
11) Ní cupán é (it's not a cup)

Ní féidir uimhir a rá ina aonar mar sin - you can't have a number on its own like that. Deir "triúr acu" más daoine iad, "trí cheann acu" más rudaí.

An bhfuil sé níos troime ná cat?

(Leid eile: Ach má tá tú beo, bíonn siad ann nuair atá tú marbh)
