Níorbh é sin an cheist. Itear a lán nár chóir dúinn ithe. ;)

An bhfuil sé déanta as plaisteach?
Is it made of plastic?

1Níl sé beo. It is not alive (it is inanimate).

2 Níl sé déanta as miotal. It is not made of metal

3 Tá sé níos lú ná bó? It is smaller than a cow.

4 Faightear sa teach é (agus áiteanna eile chomh maith). It can be found in the house(among other places)

5 Níl tú in ann é a ithe. You cannot eat it.

6 Níl sé déanta as plaisteach. It is not made from plastic.

Just to clarify again.

The words go n-éirí have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with roads rising up.

The Verb Éirigh can mean rise -but it also means SUCCEED.

Did you pass or fail (exams)

Ar éirigh leat nó ar theip leat?

Bhí siad i gconaí ag iarraidh seilbh a fháil ar Thír Chonaill ach níor éirigh leo.

They always wanted to take over Donegal – but they did not succeed

so the word éirigh relates to success/achievement

Go n- éirí an t-ádh leat

May you have success with luck = May you be lucky = Good luck

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat –

May you have success on ‘’’the Road’’- That is

SAFE Journey/Bon Voyage

Just to let you all know that pól in a poll was re-elected as the main man to deal with the ongoing rising roads problem.

Trust him.

Vote him.
