"My Crazy Life" or "Our Crazy Lives"

i want either one tattoo'd on the back of my arm

As it's for a tattoo wait for confirmation or input from at least 2 people.

This is Irish btw, not Gaelic. If you want (Scott's) Gaelic there a a few people on the board that can help.

sorry plural for saol is saolta.

you could just leave it as ár saol craiceáilte since its something of which we all have one.

And I'm with Riadach, I'd go with the singular here: ár saol craiceáilte. (Yes, both are acceptable, I know.)

Na, I wouldn't go with it at all...

The poster didn't ask for "Our crazy life" in the collective sense of the word, but lives, as in two separate lives.

But whether you use the collective singular or plural in English is an entirely separate issue from whether you use it in Irish!

There is no reason I can see that the grammar need display any correlation. For example, we say "a couple of boats" but "cúpla bád."

If I had to guess (and I don't know Middle or Old Irish, so this is only a guess) I'd say that ár gcroí srl. is probably an older way of doing things, and ár gcroithe due more to the influence of English at some point.

ok so i decided in "My Crazy Life" so it doesnt matter about if its plural or not now sorry for the inconvience

and i dont know all the context of irish but i looked up all the words alone in a dictionary and "Shaol" means environment and "Craiceáilte" means loony

so i want to make completely sure that "Mo Shaol Craiceáilte" means "My Crazy Life" and that its not put in any other way

please people im seeing im getting veiws but no responces, i know your busy and i know this shouldnt work around me but i do have an appointment tomorrow and i want to know if its 100%
