I can confirm Mo Shaol Craiceáilte.
Shaol is an inflected form of saol -- if you look that up in the dictionary, you should be able to confirm that it means "life" in the sense of a person's lifetime. And Irish word order is different, which is why the word for "crazy" comes after the word for "life."

Sorry, I should have mentioned that pronunciation varies by dialect. Jamesnp has Munster Irish, so he'd say HALE; I have Connemara Irish so I'd say HEEL.
That's all the answer I have.  Sorry if I came across as argumentative earlier.

Yeah, that's one of the things I find pleasant-but-jarring about Munster speech. On my visit to Dublin last month, Seán and I were talking grammar at one point (don't look so surprised!) and comparing other languages to Irish. When he mentioned that Slovene "also has 'caol le caol'," I spent an anxious half-second racking my brain to remember what in the world a "céal" was!  |

it just took me 20 min to find this post again,
what font would be more authentic? i was looking at the fonts and idk if i should go with the modern or the seanchló style, and i was wondering if theres any other styles? |
