I thought I'd mention a few bits of news;
Sara Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick are holidaying in the Donegal Gaeltacht this summer.
A journalist for the Belfast-based Irish language newspaper Lá was arrested and deported from Israel this week on suspicion of helping Palestinian terrorists with bomb making. Apparently all these allegations are false.

this week on the Irish speaking island of Aráinn Mór off the Donegal coast. During and after the famine, many islanders went to America and where did they all end up? On another island in lake Michigan called Beaver Island and Gaeilge was still spoken there up to the 1920s. The two island communities exchanged visits a few years back.
