How about various chess term in irish?
Check, checkmate, eternal check, rook, king, bishop, queen, knight, pawn, board, castling, stalemate, opening, midgame, endgame, gambit, defence, field, grand master, master, master candidate, simultaneous play, ELO coefficient, piece, sacrifice, exchange, split-colored (f.e. split-colored bishops), overweight... I hope tis not too difficult  Note: if your translation is for a tattoo, wait at least for 3 confirmations.

Woah! Easy tiger. All I know is that chess is called fidchill in old Irish and ficheall in Modern.
I suggest you go to the forum at http://www.acmhainn.ie and ask them there. It's sort of an online 'academy' like they have in France which keeps a store of technical terms translated into Irish. "Tá an saol mór lán den fhilíocht ag an té dar dual a thuigbheáil agus ní thráfaidh an tobar go deo na ndeor."
