Sam, A chara, What is the difference between either word? Beatha, Saol both mean life? What's the difference? Can you believe it took me 5 minutes to look up A chara? Too much sun at the beach today! Fried my inchinn! Slán, Corvus Táim buíoch le cibé déithe a bhéadh ann
as m'anam nach gcloífaí go deo. |

Hi Corvus
Yeah the spelling...eek.. it takes a while to get used to..One thing: if the word has a 'h' as the second letter is likely to be an aspirated word..a Chara = cara... then there's the uru's (eclipses) Bord = table ar an mbord = on the table.. Somedays it feels like I haven't learnt any thing at all.. As for the difference between Beatha and Saol.. Not totally sure, Saol seems to have more of a connection with time, make any sense ? Slán Sam |

Beatha is life. As in uisce bheatha which means water of life. I think this would be the life you're looking for. Saol means life as in life of a battery as in a period of time.
