Hello all! I am Preston Wamsley, not quite an irish last name, but I AM Irish, as my grandfathers father came directly from Ireland.
Soon everyone, my sweet friend Nikki, will be turning 18, and I would like to write her a poem all in Irish Gaelic.. SO! I was hoping that one of you fine fine Gaels would help me translate an entire poem! It would make my year in fact! And her bday as well!

brings me to mind of the cartoon where a doctor, a nurse and the patient are in the surgical prep room, the nurse holding a scalpel in one hand an the patient's ...uummm, ...eeerrrr,... putting this as delicately as I can and still get the idea through..."family jewels" in the other hand, and the doctor says "NO, Nurse,... I said slip off his spectacles!!"

with that remark, we may never hear from our dear Pól again. He'll be constantly "checking" to make sure his are still there after all his "wiccan" translations & too many pints, no telling what could happen to a man!
