Many thanks to Pol for the answer to my previous query!

There are two more english phrases I would appreciated translated into Gaelic (along with correct pronunciations).

The first is:

"My Queen, the Court is assembling!"

The second is:

"Tonight... this fool shall be your jester!"

Again, thank you for any assistance!

'cos if you translated it word for word in Irish -the question would be -

The court is assembling what? A lego set? An airplane model?

I've gone for


A Bhanrion, tá crinniú na Cúirte ag tarlú (anois)

My Queen, an assembly of the Court is taking place (now)


Sorry I don't know the word for jester

Well since my last visit -I did a bit of Googling and came up with the word
CROSÁN for jester!


"Tonight... this fool shall be your jester!"

Anocht... is é do chrosán a mbeidh an t-amadán seo.

lit
Tonight ..it is your jester that this fool will be.

Ignore that last translation- following some very sound advise from Tadgh- a revised and corrected translation is suggested

Anocht... beidh an t-amadán seo mar chrosán agat.


That is assuming the 'YOUR' in the original English version is Singular

If the YOUR was plural change the last word to agaibh
